Rope of Entanglement is a pair of googly eyes short of being a party pet. It's a little helpful friend to tie up enemies in a pinch, or in some niche cases, leap across a gap to attach to an ally to aid the group in exploration!

To command armies, a person needs charisma and moxy- short of that, they need everyone to be close-ish, and a Rod of Rulership. Once-a-day mass charm is incredibly powerful and has tons of potential to turn the tide of battle in your favor. 

I love campy, silly-looking items; Robe of Eyes is this to the letter. You get some darkvision, seek invisible creatures, but most importantly, get a bunch of wacky eyes on your cloak that you have to see through that make you susceptible to flashes of light. I love everything about this, even if it’s a bit crap. 

If you’ve ever wanted superpowers in your D&D games, a Ring of X-Ray Vision is about as on the nose as you can get. It may not be that effective in most scenarios, but it's a cute little trick to pull out from time to time to make sure you aren’t getting surprised by lurking ambushers or false promises! 

Breaking objects in D&D is kind of weird. Rules as written tell you to use common sense while simultaneously giving pitifully few hit points to stone doors. A Ring of the Ram is the perfect tool for busting through walls and smashing barricades to pieces, all while also being a handy 6d10 smash attack once in a while! 

Rings of Spell Storing are the magic batteries of the D&D world. You store the magic energy in it and get it back later for a single action. Easy peasy! 

When you’re sick and tired of getting your face melted by black dragon acid, it's time to invest in a Ring of Resistance. These handy little things offer you varying resistances as needed, making them great objects to seek out prior to going against a single threatening baddy known for a damage type. 

If the Defense fighting style gets you hot and bothered, do I have the item for you! A Ring of Protection is an integral part of stacking your AC so high your DM pulls their hair out when trying to balance encounters around a group with an AC range of 15 to 27. 

Are you looking for free actions? Unfortunately, that’s not at all what this ring offers despite its name- instead, you’re free from being stuck, allowing you to take actions normally! 

If you can’t get Feather Fall as a spell and want the effect, or are tired of spending your 1st level slots protecting yourself from falling to your death, pick up a Ring of Feather Falling!

Are you sick and tired of Fireballs killing you? Get a Ring of Evasion! 

If you’re facing down an onslaught of beasts regularly, or otherwise just want a tool to present you as THE animal whisperer, a Ring of Animal Influence is in order. 

Reading minds is both a blessing and a curse; sure, you can probe into the surface thoughts and learn about an organization's secrets, but you’ll also surely hear some thoughts about you that can hit on some insecurities. When you need to mind read, this potion will do just fine!

I wouldn’t exactly call resistance to all damage Invulnerability, but this certainly will bulk up a character and help them shrug off blow after blow. 

Talk about a misnomer; Potion of Heroism doesn’t give you the effect of the Heroism spell at all, but instead Bless+. Beyond its name, this handy potion will make one person a bit better through a dungeon and a fairly low cost. Going into a crypt? Chug a Potion of Heroism to get literal liquid courage! 

Gaseous Form is underrated in its own right; as a potion, it's sweet. Sometimes you just need to “POOF” into gas and get out of dodge.

Being tiny has its perks. Potions of Diminution showcase this to its fullest. 

While Clairvoyance isn’t a spell I’m clamoring for, having it in a little bottle on my hip is something I’m pretty happy to get. It may not be as useful as a familiar, but in a pinch, a Potion of Clairvoyance can be just the right tool for the job.

Like the Bag of Holding, the Portable Hole is one of those items that Dungeons & Dragons nerds adore. I am one such nerd. Not only do I dream of building a black hole with it as a weapon, just having this handy little escape mechanism in my back pocket opens up worlds of opportunities to create the dumbest plans.
