Ring of Resistance 5e
Ring, rare (requires attunement)
You have resistance to one damage type while wearing this ring. The gem in the ring indicates the type, which the DM chooses or determines randomly.

When you’re sick and tired of getting your face melted by black dragon acid, it's time to invest in a Ring of Resistance. These handy little things offer you varying resistances as needed, making them great objects to seek out prior to going against a single threatening baddy known for a damage type.
You can wear as many rings as you have fingers, with no other limitations beyond the regular magic item limitations like attunement.
Rules as written, you can’t benefit from multiples of these rings, as you can only benefit from attuning to one copy of an item at a time. Your DM’s interpretation may vary if their types are different.
Resistance also doesn’t stack; fire resistance gained through your species, such as from being a Fire Genasi, doesn’t get further enhanced by a Ring of Resistance providing fire resistance for a second time.
Of the damage types, fire, poison, and necrotic are most likely to come up in your adventuring career commonly, making their types slightly better.
