This delicate silver chain has a brilliant-cut black gem pendant. While you wear it, poisons have no effect on you. You are immune to the poisoned condition and have immunity to poison damage.

Tired of assassins trying to poison you? Had just about enough of horrific, yet adorable, tiny sea creatures with venom that can instantly end you? Pick up a Periapt of Proof Against Poison to prevent future poison-based problems!
You don’t need to attune to the Periapt to benefit from it, making it something you can slide it around onto people who are poisoned to prevent them from suffering from the afflicted condition.
Poison damage is one of the more common non-physical damage types monsters tend to have.
Area of effect poison damaging spells and condition imposing effects, like Cloudkill, get a lot better when you can harmlessly exist inside it but your foes cannot.
