Elven Chain 5e
Armor (chain shirt), rare
You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you wear this armor. You are considered proficient with this armor even if you lack proficiency with medium armor.
Made of interlocking metal rings, a chain shirt is worn between layers of clothing or leather. This armor offers modest protection to the wearer's upper body and allows the sound of the rings rubbing against one another to be muffled by outer layers.

What’s the difference between a +1 Chain Shirt and Elven Chain? Anyone can use Elven Chain!
Medium armor is accessible to most classes. Monks, Sorcerers, and Wizards have no armor proficiency, while Bards, Rogues, and Warlocks only have light armor proficiency
Chain Shirts normally make your AC 13 your Dexterity modifier (max of 2)
Elven Chain only is a chain shirt; there aren’t established other chain armors that qualify for having the “equipable by all” text
Despite using two sentences of text, the second paragraph offers no mechanical benefits.
