Flame Tongue 5e
Weapon (any sword), rare (requires attunement)
You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 2d6 fire damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.

There aren't a lot of things that “being on fire” doesn’t enhance the coolness of. Flame Tongues showcase this concept; you take a normal sword, something already pretty sick, and crank the cool-ness factor up to level by lighting it on fire.
Light created by this sword while its lit over double the area of similar effects, like the Light cantrip or a torch
Because the sword does the damage, you double the damage like normal weapon dice damage when you critically hit
You don’t have to willingly drop the sword to douse the flames; being disarmed will dismiss the flames
The sword is magical, meaning it bypasses resistance to bludgeoning/slashing/piercing dealt by non-magic weapons, but it doesn’t get any bonuses to hit or damage beyond the 2d6 fire damage
