Wand of the War Mage 5e
Wand, uncommon (+1), rare, (+2), or very rare (+3) (requires attunement by a Spellcaster)
While holding this wand, you gain a bonus to spell attack rolls determined by the wand’s rarity. In addition, you ignore half cover when making a spell attack.

The majority of spellcasters in Dungeons & Dragons lean on their Spell Save DC as their primary “attack” stat. There are substantially more spells that force a save than make an attack roll; if you’re a Warlock looking to enhance your Eldritch Blast, or are looking to mess around with spells like Crown of Stars or Scorching Ray, you might want to pick up one of these!
There are a total of thirty-one spells (as of Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons) that make a melee or ranged spell attack roll. There are over five hundred spells in the game, meaning that this wand affects 6% out of all the spells that exist.
Of these thirty-one, eight are cantrips, eight are 1st level, six are 2nd level, one is 3rd level (Vampiric Touch), and two are 4th level (Storm Sphere and Faithful Hound).
There are only seven 5th-level or higher spells collectively that make spell attack rolls, with zero 6th-level spells that have you make a spell attack roll.
Attack rolls made by Summoned creatures created by spells aren’t spell attack rolls, despite being attack rolls made by something made by a spell.
