Gloves of Missile Snaring 5e
Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement)
These gloves seem to almost meld into your hands when you don them. When a ranged weapon attack hits you while you're wearing them, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier, provided that you have a free hand. If you reduce the damage to 0, you can catch the missile if it is small enough for you to hold in that hand.

Gloves of Missile Snaring are a sweet fantasy to paly around with, as the fantasy can be kind of whatever you want that interrupts projectiles. You can catch them with unmatched speed, use arcane force to slow the projectiles, or make ethereal webbing snare the shots as the come in. It looks sweet, and reactions are great to get, making it worth of attunement!
Monks can just do this past 3rd level with their Deflect Missiles feature, but they also subtract their Monk level from the damage.
These tend to be best on front-line Dexterity based characters like rangers or fighters that are going to regularly get shot at while having a high Dex score to further reduce incoming damage.
Reducing the incoming damage doesn’t require a free hand; catching the missiles I’d argue would require an open hand, but it doesn’t specify that, so rules as written, if you can squeeze the arrow or bolt in a hand that’s also holding a weapon, go for it!
This only can reduce damage from ranged weapon attacks.
Ranged weapon attacks aren’t just made from ranged weapons; thrown weapons that are thrown and attack with their range increments make ranged weapon attacks despite typically not being ranged weapons.
Spell attacks at range don’t make ranged weapon attacks, so they don’t qualify.
