Glamoured Studded Leather 5e
Armor (studded leather), rare
While wearing this armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. You can also use a bonus action to speak the armor's command word and cause the armor to assume the appearance of a normal set of clothing or some other kind of armor. You decide what it looks like, including color, style, and accessories, but the armor retains its normal bulk and weight. The illusory appearance lasts until you use this property again or remove the armor.
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.

Mundane studded leather armor isn’t the look for me. It's plain, boring, practical- I need my look to be flashy. If you’re a ranger in need of a better social life, consider a single item that’s a complete, infinite wardrobe for all your presentation needs!
Glamoured Studded Leather Armor requires medium armor proficiency to use effectively
Wearing armor you aren’t proficient with imposes disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws that require Strength or Dex, and you can’t cast spells
“Normal clothing” isn’t particularly well defined, as it varies culture to culture and occasion to occasion, but it does basically include “non-magical” for most settings
The illusory appearance can cover as much of your character as you’d like, making it great for masks and disguises
