Dwarven Thrower 5e
Weapon (warhammer), very rare (requires attunement by a Dwarf)
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the thrown property with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, it deals an extra 1d8 damage or, if the target is a giant, 2d8 damage. Immediately after the attack, the weapon flies back to your hand.
Proficiency with a warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Every dwarf character I’ve ever dreamed up would want a Dwarven Thrower. Not only is it a sweet fantasy, it's a powerful addition to many character sheets; if you’re a dwarf, I’d absolutely seek one out!
The +3 to attack and damage rolls is massive; this is going to be one of the strongest weapons you can pick up from a to-hit perspective you can get.
Dwarven Throwers will continuously return to you, making them easy to use with Extra Attack while within 20 feet of your target.
The bonus d8 damage compels you to throw this thing as often as you can; the thrown property lets you make Strength-based attacks with the weapon over the distance, making this particularly appealing on Strength-based weapon attackers.
The Versatile property can apply to throwing this as well- as long as you use both hands to throw it, it’ll use the base d10 damage for its normal weapon damage rolls before adding the d8 or 2d8.
