Brooch of Shielding 5e
Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)
While wearing this brooch, you have resistance to force damage, and you have immunity to damage from the Magic Missile spell.
A Brooch of Shielding is pretty underwhelming; it offers you resistance to force damage, and immunity to damage from the spell Magic Missile.
There are only eight spells in the Player’s Handbook that deal Force damage, one of which being Teleport, which is self-harm rarely.
The Marut is a large, CR 25 construct that deals 60 force damage with their Unerring Slam. Beholders with the Disintegration Beam also deal force damage. Beyond that, there are few to no non-spellcasting sources of force damage in the game.
