Boots of Elvenkind 5e
Wondrous item, uncommon
While you wear these boots, your steps make no sound, regardless of the surface you are moving across. You also have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently.

Boots of Elvenkind is about as old as D&D itself. In the modern editions of the game, it offers a neat boon to your stealth, making you move silently on all surfaces, and granting advantage on all Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently!
There are no prerequisites for the Boots of Elvenkind; even if you’re not an elf, you can wear them!
Moving without making sounds is independent from the advantage on Stealth checks made while moving silently. Your steps are always silent, regardless if you’re hiding or not.
The 1st Edition Boots of Elvenkind offered a 95-100% chance to move silently in most conditions, and was printed in the 1st Edition Dungeon Master’s Guide.
