Prerequisite: 4th Level, Squire of Solamnia Feat
You are a Knight of Solamnia aligned with the Order of the Rose, a group known for leadership, justice, and wisdom. Your resolve grants you these benefits:
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Constitution, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Bolstering Rally. As a bonus action, you can encourage one creature you can see within 30 feet of yourself (you can choose yourself). If the target can see or hear you, the target gains temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your proficiency bonus + the ability modifier of the ability score increased by this feat. You can use this bonus action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Knight of the Rose

Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen brings with it nine new feats to play with specifically in the Dragonlance setting. Each feat has a prerequisite either requiring an earlier feat to be taken from the book, or that you’re playing in a Dragonlance Campaign, all of which end up functionally requiring the character be in the world of Dragonlance. Let's be honest, though: these feats are just as mechanically applicable at every table, even those outside of Dragonlance, and the vast majority of tables can find them to be solid additions to character sheets should you shrug off the lore and focus just on the mechanics they bring to the table. None of them require some Dragonlance specific gimmick or rule to function; if you’re DMing for somebody who likes these new feats, but aren’t playing in Dragonlance, I’d encourage you to let them give it a go should they meet whatever other prerequisites the feats ask for.
Knight of the Rose expands off the Squire of Solamnia feat; its prerequisites are being at least 4th level and having taken Squire. In exchange, you get a +1 to your Con, Wis, or Cha, and a new Bolstering Rally bonus action. Fighters and paladins both can get enough mileage out of the ability score improvement if you’re getting an odd ability score you care about to an even for that modifier increase; if that’s you, this feat is already exceptional. If not, Bolstering Rally is a neat bonus action to get, but not particularly potent. I don’t think it justifies inclusion on many sheets on its own.
Bolstering Rally gives an ally within 30 feet of you that can see or hear you temporary hit points equal to 1d8 plus your proficiency bonus plus the increased ability score (meaning Con actually can contribute to something beyond saves and hit points, which is neat). You get to use this bonus action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus each long rest, and that’s fine, I guess. It is a fairly substantial amount of temporary hit points; 4.5+3 to 5 + 3 to 5 is going to land somewhere around 12 or 13 temporary hit points on average per use, which will mitigate one-ish attacks in the mid to upper tiers. Mitigating an attack for a bonus action is solid, and if this were attached to a bit more I’d be all about it. Where it is currently, especially given that it doesn’t increase your attack modifiers at all, it can be hard to justify this over nearly any other feat that empowers your specific build, or just an ability score increase to get closer to that +5 modifier for your attack and damage rolls.
Some protector characters might consider this; those same characters tend to want Sentinel, Tough, and other defensive feats like Shield Master. Martial characters also really want their primary attack and damage stat maxed out as fast as possible; this leaves very little room for mediocre supplementary effects, which is where I think Knight of the Rose’s Bolstering Rally lands.
If you’ve got like a 13 Charisma you want to be a 14 for your paladin spell casting modifiers, or a 15 Constitution you’ve been meaning to get to 16 for those extra hit points, I think this is a great choice. Beyond that, I find it difficult to fit it onto many character sheets. Its fine, but fine doesn’t cut it in the cutthroat world of martial character feats.
