Prerequisite: Pact of the Chain feature
You can communicate telepathically with your familiar and perceive through your familiar's senses as long as you are on the same plane of existence. Additionally, while perceiving through your familiar's senses, you can also speak through your familiar in your own voice, even if your familiar is normally incapable of speech.
Voice of the Chain Master: Chat via Rat

Find Familiar is already one of if not the most busted 1st level spell in all of 5e. You get a full companion that can telepathically communicate with you while within 100 feet of you; most of the time, that is going to be enough. Voice of the Chain Master gives you a long range familiar espionage tool that lets you keep any distance away from it while still getting intel. It takes the familiar scout tool and opens it up to work in any sized region, so long as it stays alive. Fortunately, Pact of the Chain familiars have access to Invisibility, fly speeds, and a suite of other tools to help them stay out of sight and safe.
Speaking through your familiar is gravy, but it's deeply flavorful gravy. Sending your familiar out like a carrier pigeon to deliver a message in your own voice is such a nifty little trick that locks warlocks into that uncanny feeling… I adore it. It's not going to be happening all that often. People aren’t falling into wells and needing Lassie to go get help in Dungeons & Dragons all that often. Attaching a note to your regular ferret familiar can communicate simple messages perfectly fine, you don’t really NEED Voice of the Chain Master for this effect. But if you already want it to expand the utility of your familiar even further with the indefinite distance of communication, this is a free addition that’ll come up once or twice a campaign, and will feel so cool on the right sheets.
Voice of the Chain Master takes something already busted and makes it a bit better in a specific avenue. Some tables won’t ever need this effect; they’ll consistently get all the scouting tools they’d need from their familiar from being within 100 feet of it. 100 feet is a lot, after all. If you are at a table where you’re regularly scoping out massive areas and want to keep your familiar at a far distance over a large period of time, Voice of the Chain Master opens up two way calls from any two locations, and does so in a delightfully creepy way. You probably don’t need Voice of the Chain Master, but it can be a fun addition to most any Pact of the Chain warlocks, and can shine brightly at the right tables.
