Wand of Enemy Detection 5e
Wand, rare (requires attunement)
This wand has 7 charges. While holding it, you can use an action and expend 1 charge to speak its command word. For the next minute, you know the direction of the nearest creature hostile to you within 60 feet, but not its distance from you. The wand can sense the presence of hostile creatures that are ethereal, invisible, disguised, or hidden, as well as those in plain sight. The effect ends if you stop holding the wand.
The wand regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.

Sometimes, you’re being stalked by monsters and need a way to find them. This is where a Wand of Enemy Detection comes in; you get the general direction, and as long as you keep it up, you can sense it for up to a minute at a time.
Wands are arcane focuses, and yew wands are druidic focuses, making them potential spell focuses for any class outside artificer, paladin, and cleric.
Hostility isn’t the same as hatred; a creature that is hostile actively wants to harm you.
If you don’t suspect danger, this wand can feel a bit clunky as hidden enemies may not provide you with enough intel to even use the wand in the first place.
