Staff of Withering 5e
Staff, rare (requires attunement by a Cleric, Druid, or Warlock)
This staff has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.
The staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff. On a hit, it deals damage as a normal quarterstaff, and you can expend 1 charge to deal an extra 2d10 necrotic damage to the target. In addition, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or have disadvantage for 1 hour on any ability check or saving throw that uses Strength or Constitution.

Where most staffs provide the wielder some bonus spells, the Staff of Withering is here for clerics, druids, and warlocks who want to bash people’s brains out with a necrotic stick of death.
Staffs can be both druidic focuses and arcane focuses, but aren’t holy symbols, making them work as focuses for every spellcasting class except cleric and paladin.
Warlocks can turn a Staff of Withering into a pact weapon, making them easily able to use it for multi-attack purposes, withering potentially multiple enemies a turn with it.
There are no subsequent saves to end the disadvantage the staff imposes; if a creature fails the first save, it is affected by it for the full hour.
