Staff of Striking 5e
Staff, very rare (requires attunement)
This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.
The staff has 10 charges. When you hit with a melee attack using it, you can expend up to 3 of its charges. For each charge you expend, the target takes an extra 1d6 force damage. The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff becomes a nonmagical quarterstaff.

Are you a Monk or Druid in the market for a better staff? Most magic staffs are aimed at wizards and warlocks who cast spells through them- the Staff of Striking is made for characters that actually want to smash with their stick!
I’d always avoid spending the last charge of the Staff; its not worth the risk for a bonus 1d6 damage almost ever.
Shillelagh doesn’t stipulate the staff it affects be non-magical, and this staff is considered to be a quarterstaff, meaning you can use Shillelagh to attack with the it using your spellcasting modifier in place of Strength for its attack and damage rolls while continuing to benefit from the +3 to hit and damage.
The force damage is done by the weapon, meaning you double the force damage dice whenever you score a critical hit with the weapon and consume charges.
