Staff of Charming 5e
Staff, rare (requires attunement by a Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard)
While holding this staff, you can use an action to expend 1 of its 10 charges to cast Charm Person, Command, or Comprehend Languages from it using your spell save DC. The staff can also be used as a magic quarterstaff.
If you are holding the staff and fail a saving throw against an enchantment spell that targets only you, you can turn your failed save into a successful one. You can't use this property of the staff again until the next dawn. If you succeed on a save against an enchantment spell that targets only you, with or without the staff's intervention, you can use your reaction to expend 1 charge from the staff and turn the spell back on its caster as if you had cast the spell.
The staff regains 1d8 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff becomes a nonmagical quarterstaff.

Staffs are a fantastic way to expand your spellcasting capabilities- the Staff of Charming is a perfect example. It's a package of social “charm” based spells you can cast with it on top of getting a tool to defend against other charm effects. If you’re a bard or social warlock, this staff is a fantastic boon.
Staffs can be both druidic focuses and arcane focuses, but aren’t holy symbols, making them work as focuses for every spellcasting class except cleric and paladin.
When casting spells with magic items, you don’t need to provide any spell components, but you do need to concentrate on the effects if they require concentration, and you can only cast them at their lowest level.
Magic quarterstaffs aren’t the same as +1 quarterstaffs, but they are considered magical for overcoming non-magical weapon resistance.
Spells that target “only you” can’t target any other creatures, and must specify they target you. Area of effect enchantment spells that only you are affected by are unaffected by this reaction, as it doesn’t “target” you, as are up-cast Charm Person’s that target you and other creatures.
Generally, you don’t want to expend the last charge; why risk losing your cool charming stick?
