Frost Brand 5e
Weapon (any sword), very rare (requires attunement)
When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage. In addition, while you hold the sword, you have resistance to fire damage.
In freezing temperatures, the blade sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
When you draw this weapon, you can extinguish all non-magical flames within 30 feet of you. This property can be used no more than once per hour.

While not as well known as its fire counterpart, Frost Brands can be as exciting to pick up and play with. A flaming blade can feel overdone, but a frost-bitten blade that freezes the blood of your foes as you cut them open? That’s cool to me!
Frost Brands are magical, allowing all the damage they do to overcome non-magical resistances.
Drawing the weapon can be done as part of another action once per turn; no actions are specifically required to use this weapon trait.
A Frost Brand doesn’t innately come with a +1 or +2 to hit and damage.
The bonus cold damage is doubled when you score a critical hit with the weapon.
