Enhanced Weapon 5e
Item: A simple or martial weapon
This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.
The bonus increases to +2 when you reach 10th level in this class.

This is a fairly simple infusion with a lot of complexity behind it. First off, if we plan to keep this weapon for ourselves, we really should be consistently making multiple attacks per round, meaning neither the Alchemist or Artillerist are very interested in this. The Armorer and Battlesmith can consistently make 2 attacks past level 5, but it’s difficult to justify a bonus action attack feat as the Battlemaster wants to command their pet with their bonus action, and the Armorer only gets to use its Intelligence for attacks if it is attacking with its armor weapons.
You would also likely only be getting two attacks with the enhanced weapon anyway, as you’d want to proc the extra effects of your armor weapons at least once per turn. All that to say that if we keep this weapon, the most we will be attacking with the weapon is probably twice. Granted, this is still pretty good. Battlesmiths in particular practically need a magic weapon to function, and this provides that on any weapon you want. It also helps to offset the accuracy penalties of both Great Weapon Master and Sharpshooter, making both of those feats even better.
This infusion does get outclassed at 6th level by Radiant Weapon, but scales to +2 at level 10 while Radiant Weapon has no scaling, making for an interesting decision point. Alternatively, you may find that you don’t even need any infusions to buff your weapons anymore because you have actual magic weapons, which will all almost certainly outclass this. The best use of this infusion might be to hand it off to a friend however. There are many builds that can make upwards of 10+ weapon attacks in one turn, and this infusion would buff each and every one of those attacks.
Also, pay attention to your party’s needs. Has your Fighter been useless for the last 3 encounters because he doesn’t have a magic weapon and everything is either resistant or immune to his weapon attacks? This provides a quick and simple fix to that problem. This means that this is an infusion we will be happy to pick up in some parties or on some builds in the early game before it is outclassed by Radiant Weapon and then hopefully outclassed by actual magic weapons. A final note, this does not require attunement, meaning if a party members has all attunement slots filled with powerful effects they can’t live without but also want to be making effective weapon attacks, this is a solution.
Final Rating: 3/5
